Women Entrepreneurs

Our social investment program is committed to improving the quality of life for women in the regions where we operate. We have developed strategic alliances for public - private companies to train women entrepreneurs in our local communities.

We invest in sustainable investment projects for artisanal and subsistence women miners to be part of productive projects that can be shown and marketed nationally and internationally. We have trained more than 30 women in jewelry production using local materials.

With our program called "Golden Family" we organize activities for 58 wives and mothers of our employees to learn how to make crafts.

We envision our “barequeras” which is the name given to the local women that exploit gold from the riverbed, as a group that, not only produces locally jewelry, but also serves local markets. We hope to revamp this process in order to open new commercial channels, both locally and internationally.
