    New Management, New Name

    A new management team led by Neil Woodyer assumes management and operatorship of Caldas and backstops an C$85 M equity offering to fill a funding gap at Marmato. The new Company is named Aris Gold.

  5. September 2022

    Merger with GCM creates new mid-tier

    GCM Mining and Aris Gold combine to create a new mid-tier producer with a robust balance sheet while eliminating cross ownership (GCM owned 44% of Aris Gold at the time). The new Company has a powerful mix of cash flow and growth and is led by a team of proven mine builders with significant operating experience and credibility in Colombia.

Our Assets

Aris Mining operates the Segovia Operations and the Marmato mine in Colombia, which together produced over 230,000 ounces of gold in 2021. We are also the operator and 20% owner of the world class Soto Norte project in Colombia, with an option to increase to 50%. Aris Mining also owns the advanced stage Toroparu project in Guyana and the Juby project in Ontario, Canada.
