At Aris Mining, Contract Mining Partners (CMPs) are an important part of how we operate and grow in Colombia. Through partnerships with local small-scale miners, we combine local knowledge and experience with our technical expertise, safety standards, infrastructure, and operational support.

Our CMP model supports the formalization of traditional mining activities, helping create safer, more responsible and more productive operations. In turn, these partnerships expand economic opportunity, strengthen local capabilities, increase gold production, and create lasting shared value for our partners, host communities, and Aris Mining.

CMPs in Action

Our CMP model is established and growing at Segovia, expanding at Marmato, and has the potential to become an important part of the future operating model at Soto Norte.

Segovia — Established and Growing

Segovia is the foundation of our CMP model, where long-standing partnerships with local miners contribute meaningfully to gold production. We continue to expand the program by adding new partners, increasing production, and strengthening the technical, safety, and environmental standards that support responsible growth.

Marmato — Active and Expanding

At Marmato, our CMP program is active and growing as we work with local miners to expand formalization and integrate additional production into the operation. The model builds on Marmato’s long mining history while creating opportunities for safer, more productive, and more responsible small-scale mining.

Soto Norte — Building for the Future

At Soto Norte, the CMP model represents a significant future opportunity. We have designed a 3,500 tonnes per day (tpd) processing plant, with 750 tpd or approximately 20% of planned capacity, dedicated to local mining partners. This provides a strong foundation for local mining partners to participate in the project and contribute to future production.
